Blink: The Power Of Thinking Without Thinking
(482 Pages) (8.5 Hours)
The book caught my attention as I tried to analyze some of its concepts. The author claims that decisions made with a blink of an eye are just as crucial as those made under planned processes. However, I believe that such decisions require people with excellent decision-making skills, such that they ate able to identify and analyze observed characters within a blink. Not everyone can, therefore, make such quick decisions since fewer people have such skills. I believe that others need a planned decision-making process to make critical decisions. In most cases, if other people consider making quick and unplanned decisions, they might end up ruining everything. I found this book to be intriguing because of the way the author was talking and differentiating between making decisions with and without planning. I would recommend this book to anyone how is interested in how fast decisions are executed and would like to know how he/she can master that skill especially if they want to be a leader in an organization in the future.
